Other Locational Data: The subject property is located on the west side of Alta Street near north edge of the 1872 Historic Townsite. *P3a. Description: The property consists of a two-story, wood-frame Late Victorian style residence. Character defining features of the home include a moderately steep cross-gable roof clad with asphalt shingles, an exterior fireplace and brick chimney running alongside the center of the wall along the northern elevation of the home, a plain frieze below the roof eaves, wooden knee braces under the eaves, horizontal shiplap exterior wood siding, a single-story rear wood-frame addition with a gable roof and second brick chimney, vertically set 1 over 1 light wood-sash, double-hung windows in singles and pairs of varying sizes, a wrap-around front porch with turned wood columns and decorative brackets flanking each column, and a front and side entrance door underneath the front porch. The home is set on a large parcel with the home oriented towards the east facing Alta Street. In the upslope portion of the parcel is a contemporary wood-frame barn/garage.
