Description: The property consists of a single-story, wood-frame Queen Anne style residence that fronts Carpenter Street. The residence is characterized by its offset or asymmetric design, hip and gable roof clad with asphalt shingles, fish scale and geometric shingles in the front gable end, s small attic window, closed rafter, a perpendicular gable facing the left side of the residence, horizontal wood shiplap exterior siding, pairs and single 1 over 1 light, wood-sash, double-hung windows, a vertical board foundation skirt, turned colurmns on the front porch, gingerbread below the porch eaves, and turned rails and balustrades. The yard is fully landscaped with mature trees, shrubs, a picket fence, and a single-car garage. In 1872 the parcel was owned by W.D. Woods. In 1905 the house may have been built for Thomas Bradley, who was born in Marin County and moved to Grass Valley to work in the mines in 1903.
