Other Locational Data: The subject property is located on the south side of Chapel Street. *P3a. Description: The property consists of a 1 1/2-story, wood-frame, Late Victorian style residence. Character defining features of the residence include a cross-gable moderately sloping roof clad with asphalt shingles, clased eaves with layered malding, the gable end facing Chapel filled with fish-scale shingles along with a 1 over 1 light wood-sash rectangular-shaped window, a closed front gable, with small brackets along the front atop a plain frieze, and underneath a three-sided bay window with brackets below the eave, and fixed glazed replacement windows beneath which are fish-scale wood shingles, and to the left a hipped roof porch that covers the frant entry door that includes a transom window and angled panels flanking the door. The porch is supported by turned Victorian columns with decorative fret-sawn gingerbread, and turned balustrades. The porch stair railing is wrought iron and a below-grade single-car garage has been added to the left front of the house. The entire house is sided with horizontal shiplap wood exterior siding and the side gable has boxed returns and two 1 over 1 light wood sash widows and a second story window. A small addition appears on the right rear of the residence. The front yard is landscaped with a chain link fence, lawn, shrubs, planting beds, mature trees, and a walkway.
