Aevaia NATURALIZED.—Fifty persons were admitted to citizenship in the District Court, to-day. Their names are as follows: H. A. Trautman, J. S. Rupericht, J. Veulmiger, Geo. Moheril, Jas. Irwing, E. Jacobs, 1). A. Hiller, gs, aggre ag ohn Huyder, Bernard Kuymer, Wm. Miller, Jas. McNelus, Wm. Green, Jno. Murray, A, Schroger, Pat’k. Hemolan, W.C. Young, Jno. Kelley, Joseph Robinson, Dennis Spillend, N.M. Olsin, Ganson lite, Florent Dupont, Henry Duffret, Thos. Turner, Wm. Hill, M. Demures, Francis Haubar, 8. Clottz, Pat. Murphy, F. Borncross, Jas, Delaney, J. H. Fanney, Michael Marion, Jno. N. Wagner, Thos. Clark, C. MeDonald, Stephen Fletcher, H. Scaddin, Alex. Lind, M. Jordan, M. Doyle, Alex. Le Badt, WwW. Richards, Wm. Luke, W. J. Hill, Wm Aplin, Chas. Straube, Jerry Lynch, P. J. Le Koch. We judge that not less than three hundred aliens have been admitted to citizenship in the District Court of this county, within the past two months. SPFAKING IN THE CoUNTY.—A vigorous and exciting canvass is now going on in this county, and meetings are held at half a dozen different points every evening. If the people do not vote right, it will not be for lack of efforts to enlighten them. Mr. Palmer spoke at Mooney Flat yesterday evening, and speaks again this evening at Omega. Messrs. Belden and Caldwell are also announced to address the . people at Washington, to-night, and McConnell and Dibble speak at Red Dog. +The Breckinridgers and Lincolnites are supposed to be doing a great deal of private canvassing, but do not exhibit the activity\of the Douglas men. The Belleveretts give themselves no uneasiness, but knowing they cannot carry the . State, are disposed to let matters take their . course. MeeETING at Roven & Rreapy.—Messrs. McConnell and Dibble spoke at Rough & Ready yesterday evening, in accordance with previous announcement. An arrangement had been made for a political discussion between . Messrs. Dibble and Whiteside, but the latter failed tocome and Judge Searls andC. W. Hill went down to supply his place. McCon. nell and Dibble offered them the most liberal . terms, which they refused to accept, but preferred to grind out their Secession arguments to a baker’s dozen of hearers, after Dibble had . concluded his speech. We learn that McConnell and Dibble had a fine audience, and with . the exception of one or two attempts by some rowdies to break up the meeting, every thing . passed off well. Sivuice Ropper Kitiep.—We learn from . Mr. Colby, the expressman to Eureka town. ship, that a Frenchman named La Blange was shot and killed, in the mining claims of Chas. . Haskell, near Arnold’s Ranch, last Wednesday night. He was shot by Mr. Knifer, the night . watchman, while in the act of robbing the slui. ces. The robber was armed with a revolver, which he discharged at Knifer after he had received a mortal wound, but fortunately without effect. A man suspected of being an accomplise of La Blange has been arrested at Humug. Tux TickrTs.—The Democratic tickets for Nevada county have the words “For a Convention,” and “Pay the Debt.” ‘Those opposed to calling a Constitutional Convention can scratch out the words “For a Convention,” and their votes will then count against the measure. In order to vote against paying the balance of the old State debt, voters must write the words “Repudiate the Debt” on their tickets. We hope there will be no votes in the county against paying the debt. Boarp oF Supenyisors.—Next Monday is . the day fixed by law for the regular meeting of the Board of “Supervisors to transact county business. But asthe Board could not be in session on Tuesday, on account of the election, and will have to meet on the second Monday after the election to canvass the returns, the regular meeting for county business will be . postponed until Monday the 19th inst, Bacuetors’ Cun Party.—The Bachelors’ Club, of Nevada, gives their second party at Withington’s Hall, next Wednesday evening. The Club purpose giving a series of dancing . parties during the coming winter. Ix Town.—J. E. Hamlin, whe has been ab. sent, attending school at Santa Clara, for some } months, arrived in town yesterday evening, . He will remain here for some weeks, during . the vacation, and return to his studies again. — . DiscHarGED.—A. Baruh and John Hertzinger were to-day discharged from all their debts and liabilities, in the District Court. Mr. H. A. Kex1y, of Orleans Flat, is a candidate for Constable for Eureka township. Tue District Court will meet on Monday next, to set the cases on the calendar for trial. . Appointment.—Lieut. John Hill, of the . California Guard, has been appointed Ad. Jutant of the Eighteenth Battalion, Second . Brigade, Second Division, California Militia. . New Cuurca at Rev Brivurr.—Rev. Mr. . Brier is at Red Bluff, with the intent to es. tablish.a Presbyterian Church. A lot and one thousand dollars in money have been . procured, 4 crane ONTOS TOPRIM IN gps Purifying the blood upon the state of —Health depends almost entirely the blood. The Bulletin correspondent of the 6th of October in criticising the different Photographic ‘Pictures at the last State Fair says: ‘On the opposite wall hang the eontributions of J, Shew of San Francisco, These alsoare most creditable specimens of the photographic art. Among them is a life-size head and bust of Senator Broderick—probably the most perfect which has been made of the Iate Senator. Side by side with these, hang a series of most wretched libels on the art contributed by some one in Nevada, They serve, however, to set off to better advantege, the productions of more skillful competitors. As that paper don't give the name of the artist who send such pictures, it must be knowa, that A. LIEBERT, the Photographic Artist of Broad treet, published in the papers of Nevada, that he was the only one in this city who sent pictures to the State Fair. ae ‘‘A CHACUN SES GUVRES,’’-G% Let every one have Credit for hisowa Work, novl-3in LOUIS CELARIE, ISSOLUTION . of, Co-Partnership. — The Co-partnership heretofore existing betweew the undersigned in the ‘Livery’? business, is thie day dissolved by mutual consent. % Kewads, Oct. 20th, 1860, J.
