distance from the Washoe diggings to Nevada,

we should not be surprised if good roads were

More Discoveries.—Mr. Foster, the expressman, who returned last week from Washoe, informs us that another vein of silver ore has recently been discovered by some Mexicans, about
four miles from Virginiatown, on the toll road
leading from thence to Steamboat Valiey. Some
of the ore had been assayed with sueh conveniences as could be procured on the spot, and the
proprietors entertain a well-founded belief that
the lead is extensive and valuable.
