and valuables. Wise was behind the counter at the time and another was in the adjoining room with his wife. The robbers

Asher who gave us an account of the affair :

forty small specimens weighing from $1 to
$5 each ; One plain gold ring weighing $13:

one gold ring with white quartz set ; another
gold ving, shield; one gold breast pin, quartz
set blacked in the ceater ; one gold specimen worth $4 ; two gold studs with square .

dust ; three small boxes of dust containing
altogether 36.0z of Bear River dost; a gold
wateh with lomg lady’s guard chaip valued
at $200: a small lady's watch with siiver

in twenties, and $175 ip tives; Ofty-two
pieces of forign silver coin ; a small tive
shooting Colt. The value of all the articles
taken is estimated at over $4,500. .

jumped through the door at oace, the foremost having two revolvers in his bands,

Mr. Wise offers a reward of $500 for the
apprehension of the robbers,
