#@ A little child of B. F. Thompson, of
Provideoce, R. I. was recently stifled to
death by a dog which mounted the bed of
the sleeping child, placed its paws on the
little fellow’s shoulders, and then drew his
breath antil he was suffocated. The child
was in feeble health, and it is possible that
the weight of the »nimal upon its bedy may
have induced a spasm that proved fatal.
