there will be a universal war ten years afterwards, or in 1885. This will result in the
overthrew of everything good, and the rise
of the man of sia. This phrase is most obsecure.
37. Theman of sin shall be born of two races.
The white dower beeomes obscured during the times
six times trenty moons. Then rt shal! disappear,
to be seen no more furever. .
The Bourbon dynasty will last from the 2d
November, 1862, to the 2¢ May. 1900, when
it will godewn forever.
38. Much evil and little good will there be in
those days. Many cities shall perish by fire lerael
then retarn« entirely to Christ the Lord,
This may mean either the restoration of
the Jews to the holy land, er return of all
Protestants to the mother churcb.
29. The acepreed and the faithful shall be separ
ted into two distinct classes, clearly distingai shed.
40. Butallisover. Godalone wil! be believed
The third part of Gaul, and again the third part
and a balf, will be without faith. .
Five sixthsof France, and the whole .
world, are to be infidel in the year 1900, ;
41. The same ill be among other nations. i
42. And belv li! six times three moons, and .
four times five moon s, and there is a general falling .

43. Aftera oumber, net complete, of mopns.
God will combat inthe persons of his two servants. i
The man of sin shall carry off the victory. .
44. Batitiedooe! The Almighty raises up a .
wall of Gre that obseares my visien, and I can see
nothing more. May he be blost forevermore. Amen! .
Three years and two months from the 2d

that time, universal wickedness is to pre.

nearly revolved, it is quite probable that we
shall bear more of it than ever during _
next three years.
Napoleon Iil. is too well acquainted with
the springs of human action to permit it to
be republished in Franve ; for when pro.

surely to their fulfilment, thau the mere expectency of the events foretold. Nor can it
be denied by the close observer of events
now transpiring, that Europe is on the eve
of another bouleversement. * * *
Besides the above prophecy, there are
several others handed round ian Fraace, relately chiefly to the condition ef that empire
One of the best known is called the Poictiers

Wasnor.—We leara from the Territorial
Enterprise that affairs at Washoe are beginning to look upagain. Prospecting bas now
become fully resumed and claims already
opened are daily improving in value. The
Ophir company has taken out 134 tons of
ore within the last two months, ofa quality
which it is thought will yield not less than
$2,000 per ton. This company is now raising about five tons of sulph urets per day
which is being shipped to San Francisco, as
fast as possible, It is thonght the company
will reatize not leas than $1,200,000 in the
gross, from their mine, between the present
time avd November next.
The ground of the Central company is also improving. and they will soon bave their
mill ready to ran.
The Mexican and Washoe companies are
also shipping ore. The Enterprise bas seen
some sulphurets taken from tbe Choller
grouad on Monday the 9th inst., which
greatly resembled, and itis thought will
prove quite as valuable asany taken from
the Ophir ground. The wonderfull richness
of this celebrated Comstock lead seems to be
constantly on the increase, wherever it is
struck.
Curar Tott.—At a recent meeting of the
Supervisors of El Dorado county it was Ordered, that the rate of tol! for crossing Brock
lias’ bridge, for the Pony Express, be one
cent per month, until the further order of
this Board.
ga The Columbia Times says the late
