a ) Moose Order Is Formed S11 6G T he Loyal Order of Moose is forming locally to join the family of fine organizations pre~ sently serving this area, A series of “Get Acquainted © Meetings" will be held at the California Inn on the Grass Valley Nevada City Highway, each Tuesday at 8 p.m. Membership Director Ken James announced that the meetings will be open to all men and women inthe area, "because the Moose is a Family Fraternity, and we Want the wives to be aware of the benefits of Moose membership to the family as a whole, " The 13 minute color, sound, film “Fraternally Yours" which will be shown at the meetings tells about this fraternal organi*= zation, founded in 1888 which draws it's membership from all walks of life, but in the main it's strongest appeal is to the working man with modest income, since it provides an element of social security for himselfand his family that he cannot find elsewhere, He gets fellowship and an Opportunity to participate in community service, but most of all, it is the existence of Mooseheart, which takes care of his children should he pass on, and Moosehaven, which gives him a home in his senior years, that make this Lodge particularly attractive. In addition.it lends a helping hand when needed and guarantees the fellowship of a full social life. Once a charter is installed the local members will decide where and when to hold meet~ ings and what their service projects will be.
