The bride’s waltz-length gown was of blush pink nylon net over taffeta with a darker pink satin . draped sash, her accessories were pink with a flower trimmed halo hat of net and she carried an old fashioned bouquet of pink Cecil Brunner roses and pink bouvardia framed in pink maline with bow . ‘and streamers. . She savas attended by her matron /of honor, Mrs. Carrol Rogers, who was attired in a coral waltz-length gown of similar style. She carried a spray of gladiolus of matching color. The bride was given in mar. . riage by her brother, Dr. Mel . Berryman. Duane Rozynski, brother of the) ‘groom, was best man. Carroll . . Berryman, Roy Berryman, Carrol . Rogers and Thomas Litde were "ushers. Centered on the terrace backdrop was an arrangement of white bells and pink ribbons above 4 lovely background of pink dogwood, stock, snapdragons and tulips arranged by Mrs. Anne Whit ing. The wedding ceremony was preceded by vocal selections “At . Dawning” and “Because” by Mrs/. . \Ruth Stoddard accompanied by ‘yVirs. Robert L. Ross on a miniature organ. ~ After the ceremony the recep‘tion was held on the lawn. A tiered wedding cake decorated in pink with white roses surrounded with pink daisies and } white lilies of the valley was placed on the pride’s table. The bride's cake was also decorated in pink . with white bells and roses. Assisting the bride in serving the cakes were Mrs. Loraine Keast and Mrs. Carrol! Berryman. The. bride is a graduate of Grass Valley High School and Mount Saint Mary’s Business School and the daughter of Mrs. Carrie Berryman and the late Edwin J. Berryman. She is employed in Grass Valley by the State of California. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Rozynski of Nevada City and attended Nevada City schools. Rust, native and virtual lifeTor esident of Grass Valley, passed away yesterday at her, home at 502 West Main street. Kindly, with an engaging personality, she enjoyed a host of friends throughout the commun: ity. j She was born on the former McGuire Ranch, two miles east of Grass Valley, on what is now known as Colfax Highway, May 24, 1871. She attended Union Hill school and then moved" to San Francisco and attended Herald’s ' Business College. ‘ Upon her graduation from college she returned to Grass Valley. Her marriage to Otto Rust, former city police officer who passed away in 1948, was an event of 55 . ‘years ago. The family home has . been on West Main street ever since, A son was born to the union, but passed away in infancy. Mrs. Rust was a member of Manzanita Parlor, No. 9, Native Daughters of the Golden West; Parish Association and Ladies Re-, lief Society of St. Patrick’s CathoJie Church and was one of the few remaining members of the Poinsetta Club. Two brothers, Thomas and Michael McGuire, survive. She , was a sister of the late Mrs. Cath‘lerine Quinn, Mrs. Mary Shoemaker, Richard, John, William, Joseph and James E. McGuire.
