Feb. 2 — Road leading out of Nevada by Rigby Hill has been widened
and sewers laid along its whole side. Till this was done
there was not a decent road into Nevada from the Sacramento
side.if the Supt. would have some gravel from the bed of

Apr. 6 P.P.Hull has become the editor of the "Téwn Talk." (Notes
Patrick Hull, husband of Lola Montez.)
Apr. 6 New brick buildings: We learn that the following will be
built. (Hussey & Rogers) and (Hershman & Rosenheim) on the
site of their present stores. Fine brick edifice. Mr. Potter
on his stand. Mr. M-H.Funston, Miss Mary Miller, Mr. Flurshutz
next to his present store. Brick Court House next season.
Apr. 6 — Miners on Cement Hil’ are making $12 a day to the hand over
expenses. $1600 was fefused the past week for a share in
Stewart & Co.'s claim.
Apr. 13 Miner killed at Santiago Hill, near Columbia Hill by caving
in of a bank.
