-Lynching at Volcano
Severe storm last Monday. Houses and trees blown down.

J. Churchman visited Nevada last Monday still suffering from wound he
received at Sacramento. R. A. Davidge fined $250 for his assault on
J. Churchman.
Public notice--License to set up and keep a toll bridge across the
Middle Yuba between Bloody Run and Uncle Tom's Cabin. Michael and
Patrick Burns.
Body of Wm. H. Spencer, late of Nevada, found floating in the Sacramento
River after an explosion on the steamer Pearl.
Langton Express and Everts Express both sold to Adams Express. (Mr.

A meeting in Cherokee for the purpose of getting a post office there.
