"Pike Flat" extends from the bridge across Wolf Creek, at Winchester's Mill up to McClintock's house, a distance of a mile and a half, varying from a 4 to a % mi. wide. It has been worked (for gold) with greater success than any other Flat in this vicinity or elsewhere in the County.
