NEVADA COUNTY COURT Appeal Mar. 29, 1861 Transcript quoted re "Jail Delivery at Nevada". Alfred Adam and two Chinese escape. The novel plan of escape is described. Appeal Feb. 21, 1861 Item from Transcript gives the account of a "cutting affray" which took place during a trial in the justice court. Appeal June 21, 1861 Trnascript has an account of a famous woman criminal, Mrs. Deba Kempton, who is charged with burglary and arson in Grass Valley.
