An item quoted from the Nevada Journal of “ct. 5 discusses
a pro d Sville to Nevada City. The
opinion of a "well-known engineer ™ tT ed. the proposed
route is described as running along Dry Creek crossing the
Yuba to Penn Valley to Nevada City along Deer Creek. The
editor of the Journal anticipates rivalry from Sacramento
because the connection with the proposed Benicia-Marysville
line would bypass Sacramento.
