12-Father Manogue, of Virginia City, has been recommended for the
Bishopric of Utah & Colorado. He was formerly a miner at Moore's
Flat, Nevada County. He commenced his preliminary theological
studies during hours he took from his sleeping time while working as a miner there.

of cems in Nev Co. Act approved Feb. 1) (Fy11 copy)
17--(Fr. D.F. Enquirer---Neece & Wests' Cement Mill at Red Dog, Nevada Co., lately cleaned up, after a week's run, $3,400. Franklin
Ennis Cement Mill is also making money. Other mills at that place
