Prof Frntz lecture upon Phrenology at Empire Hall describe natural propensities;
Mrs. Fotz world famous Spiritualist and Healer will converse with audience thru
the departed spirits of their friends.

talk upon history. Stated we should search for general facts and avoid minutuea.

attendance of rink. GV lady, expert on rollers, teaching her 18 mo baby girl to
skate, learning fast.
Dont' forget the lecture Fri night and hear the speaking dog.

17 April 1885 Shipment of copper cement from Spenceville for March 160,000 1b,
largest shipment sincemine opened.

18 April 1885 Delphi mine about 3 mi from Columbia Hill on Grizzly Hill, tip top
shape and ledge proving to be one of most valuable ever disc in this co.
Sulphurets yeld about $100 per ton. Rich mine and cheap to operate. Expect
profit of $10,000 far first mo's run. New mine and one passed by a thousand times
not considred any value.

Reparter recommends building large hotel at ar near Colf for visitors who might
seek area as health resort.
Distressing accident: Sebastopal m, Charles H. Mill lost hand explosion of giant
powder cratridge. Night shift, cartridges frozen, Mill placed cartridge on bedplat
by side of steam bailer at surface. When blast hole ready for firing he went to
get cartridge to attach cap and fuse as took cartr in right hand it exploded tearing
off fingers and part of hand, burn about neck and face, destroying one eye. Blown
off fingers struck nearby man in face. amputated hand. his fault but sympathies
of comm who should extend to a worthy man a liberal hand in this hour of his
dread affliction.
