Cannon on hill belched thunderous roar and whole line of Main st ablaze with firelight and resounded with echoes of pyrotechnics. Two members of Goyne's Band. From correspondent. 10 July In evening as the train on Voss's narrow gauge lumbering railraod in Little York township was making down trip, the loco, which was pushing the cars, jumped the track between Mt. Oro and the mill and fell over a 30 foot embankment and was badly wrecked. Tom Blackair, the engineer, jumped as the engine left the track and escaped injury. Fred Staples who was aboard had a narrow escape. He went down with the wrek and slightly hurt about legs and head.
