March 23, 1885— Appeared at San Francisco as Amina in La
Sonnambula.
Oct 1, 1885—Married Dr. Raymond Palmer in Paris.
Nov 16, 1885— Returned to San Francisco, where her concerts
were less popular than in March.
Dec 3, 1885—Sang at Piper’s opera house in Virginia City.
1887—Daughter Mignon born in Paris.
1902— Appeared in Nevada City.
May 27, 1909—Her daughter Mignon had made her singing
debut at Rome in the role of Rosina in the Barber of Seville.
Her stage name was “Mignon Nevada Gloria.”
June 20, 1940—Died in Liverpool, England.

July 5, 1858—Spoke at the Independence Day celebration in
Alpha.
Aug 20, 1858—On committee of arrangements for Nevada
Rifle Co. ball at Nevada City.

Feb 1859—Daughter Emma born at Alpha.
March 18, 1858— Attended the child who fell from a balcony
while in Mr. Osgood’s arms (child later died).
Dec 3, 1859—On committee to build toll road from Nevada
City to Washoe.
Jan 1861—Wife was collecting subscriptions for Ladies’
Washington Monument Society at Alpha.
1862—Brought his wife and daughter to live at Nevada City
while he prospected in Austin, Nevada Territory.
ca 1864—Wife and daughter rejoined him in Austin.

Oct 1866—King of Austin Chapter 3 RAM in Austin.
Nov 6, 1866—Elected public administrator of Lander Co.,
Nevada.

1873—Enrolled daughter at Mills Seminary in Oakland, Calif.
Aug 8, 1876—Daughter Emma sang at Austin.
March 15, 1877—Daughter Emma gave farewell concert at
Austin.
April 1877 —Daughter Emma sailed for Hamburg, Germany,
on the Pomerania
Aug 24, 1878 —Received letter from Vienna containing dried
wildflowers picked in the Alps by Emma.
1884—Daughter (stage name “Emma Nevada”) returned to
U.S. as member of James H. Mapleson’s opera company.
Dec 3, 1885—Attended Emma’s concert at Piper’s opera
house in Virginia City.
1887—Granddaughter Mignon born in Paris.
1902—Emma appeared in Nevada City.

1893—He and King bought George Murphy’s lumber yard
and mill at Main and Bennett streets in Grass Valley.
1896—He and King bought 200 acres of timberland near
Greenhorn Creek for $3,000.
July 1904—Pres. of Union Lumber Co., East Main Street.
June 3, 1907— Attended old pioneers reunion at Grass Valley.

Temperance at Nevada City, Nevada County.
June 27, 1854—Officer in Cadets of Temperance.
March 13, 1861—He, Addison E., Philip A. and Mary Womack
had contributed literary material to the Lone Valley Journal,
published by schoolchildren at Lone and Penn valleys.

1850—Came to Nevada City, Calif. from Virginia with husband and family.
Oct 14, 1853—Lived at head of Broad Street, Nevada City,
Nevada County, with husband.
March 25, 1857—Three of her children had been sick with
varioloid at Nevada City.
Nov 23, 1857—Had sold house to P. W. Taylor.
Sept 17, 1860— Husband died at son’s house in Grass Valley.
Oct 22, 1860—Appointed administrator of husband’s estate.
1861 —Her children were attending school near Penn Valley.
April 25, 1863—Granddaughter Emma Frances died at Penn
Valley.
July 3, 1863—Had opened a hotel at Wilson, Placer County,
one mile from the Bear River in the new copper district.
April 13, 1864—Her hotel now had a rival establishment, and
three “deadfalls” were in the town.
July 21, 1864—Married “Judge” John Davis of the Forest
House in Wilson.
Aug 24, 1874—Husband, Judge Davis, died at home of her
son, William P. Womack, in Dixon..
March 27 or April 3, 1880—Died at Wheatland, Yuba County.
