Wilhelm, Generalissimo of the Nevada Commandery, Knights Templar This photo was taken by people on vacation through Grass Valley in July 1925. The photo looks west up Main St. at 7:00 AM. You can distinctly see the “Empire Market” on the direct left on either side of the door into the Empire Market. This is our only photo of the Empire Market, as it probably looked when Theo. Wilhelm sold it in 1909. 136
