Last night’s attendance at the Catholic Fair was probably larger than tbat of any other evening. The entertainment was given by the pupils of Mt. St. Mary’s Acadenty, and as is always the case of entertainments given by the pupils of this institution, was highly creditable. The singing ot Miss M. Lagos was especially appreciated. The scarf drill was beautiful, showing great care and attention. On Tuesday evening the musical programme will be given by Mrs. DeWitt Renfro and her pupils, assisted by Miss Lulu Wilhelm and Miss Alice Brady, pianists, and Archie Moore, violinst. The programme has been very carefully prepared and will no doubt be very enjoyable. The celebrated serenade ‘‘Sing, Smile, Slumber,"’ by Gounod, will be one of the numbers, and Mrs. Renfro will sing ‘‘Alas, Those Chimes,” with cello obligato from ‘‘Maritana.’’ The following is the programme: Trio, ‘‘Oh, Summer Night.” Donizetti. Misses Millie and Ida Wilhelm and Mrs. Renfro. Song, ‘‘My Lover Is a Sailor Lad.”’ Schleifarth. Miss Florence Murphy. Duet, ‘‘Holy Mother.’’ Wallace. Misses Millie and Ida Wilhelm. Song, ‘‘Alas, Those Chimes,’’ with cello obligato, from Maritana. Mrs, De Witt Renfro and Miss Winnie Wilhelm. Trio, ‘‘Memory.’’ Leslie. Mrs, Renfro, Miss Millie Wilhelm and Mr. Herbert Fisher. Piano Duet, ‘The Whirlpool.” Holst. Misses Lulu and Millie Wilhelm. PART Il. Duet, ‘‘Wert Thou In the Cauld Blast."’ Mendelssohn. Miss Ida Wilhelm and Mrs. Renfro.
