claims near Camp Washington, on the north side of Canyon creek. The directors are F.
R. Broan, J. C. Rhoades, J. R. Newman, Mark G. Lane, and F. L. McPherson. An adit
will be driven 200 ft. to cut the rich ore-shoot that was found on the surface. As soon as
the weather improves, a compressor will be installed. The vein is 4 to 8 ft. wide, with a
dip of 65 deg., and so situated that an adit half a mile in length can cut the vein 2000 ft.
below the outcrop. The ore is said to assay from $4 to $18 per ton. The property is %
mile east of the Ethel, and is supposed to be an extension of the Gaston vein. Hydraulic
power is available and will be used for power purposes. F. L. McPherson is
