WIILEELER’S
Amalgamating and Separating Pans
T IS ACKNOWLEDGED RY ALL WHO HAVE EXAMINED THE
ae and witnessed the operation of theso fais, that they
are decidedly superlor for trituruting and amalgamating purpeses
to any other in use.
The most Insportaut prinelpte connected wilh the operation of
these Pans Is the separation ot the triturating process front that of
extracting the nmalgam trom the sand. Tho e¢lilet cause of lose of
the preclous metul arises from the passing off of the saine In com.
bluation with the quicksilver, during the process of trituratlon, and
In es up. Ry the Introduction of tho arn: Pan to follow ihe triaurating, thls loss is entirely avoided. In workIng these
machines there Is no uppreclable loss of quicksilver, and bence none
of the precious metnls.
Where these Pans have been Introduced and operated by the side
of others on sands from the same yat, the Wheeler Pans have untformly gained a large percentage of melals, over Its competitors, na
weil asn silll larger percentage In the amount of work performed.
*,*These Pans may be sceu in dally operation at tho Miners,
Foundry, on First strect, San Franclseo, where all {uterested ure inyited to call and exumine for themselves.
