New Use ror a Sopa Founrarn.—Mr.
Frick has claimed for his recent improvement
on the Soda fountain, that he could make it
propel machiuery; and to redeem his word
has introduced on his counter, in the Pavilion
of the Fair, a peatty constructed miniature
steat engine, with a pipe attachment to his
apparatus, and when the gas is let into its cyl
inder the motion of the machinery is rapid
and perfect. ‘The fountain itself has, from the
beginning of the Fair, been a great object of
attraction, which is now vastly increased by
this new and novel feature.Mining Notices--Continued.
