PATENT AMALGAMATOR.
These Machines Stand Unrivaled, .
For rapidly pulveriziig and amalgamating ores, they
have noeqnal. No effort has been, or will be, spared to
have them constructed in tle most perteot manner, and of
the great nuuiber wow Ju operation, uot one has ever reaes Tepairs. Tho constant and inereasing demand for
them Is suificient evidence of their merits.
They are constructed so asto apply stcam dircetly Into
the pulp, or with steam bolioms, as desired.
Thia Amalgamator Operates as Follows:
The pan being filled, the motion of theinuller forees the
pip to the eenter, where It ls drawn down through tbe aD
enure and between the grinding surfaces. Thenee it is
lhrown to Hie rane into the quieksllver. The eurved
plates again draw it to the center, where it passes down,
and tothe elrcumference as before. Thug itis coustantly
pase in a regninr flow between the grinding surfaces and
nto the quicksllyer, until the ore is reduced to an impaipable powder, and the metal umalgamated.
Setlers nado on the same principle excel all others.—
They bring the pulp so constantly and perfectly in contect
with quicksilver, that the particles are rapidly and compPietely absorbed.
Mill men are invited to exam. nc these pans and setlers for
themselves, at the PACIFIC FOUN DEY,
Wl San Francisco.
