Encuisi capitalists have purchased $600,000
worth of Colorado mining lands, and their
agents and employees are en route to develop
the sume. The claims are principally in Russell and Trail Run districts, and their recent
purchase has been the Seaton lode of 1,000
feet, for which they paid £100,000 alone.
Turi Onsect—A St. Louis paper says
that the principal aim of Speaker Colfox and
party in visiting the west is stated to have been
to ascertain the immediate importance of a
railroad to the Pacific. Their report is unaniniously in favor of the early construction of
the road.
