fruits are “ cooling,” and also herries of every
description. It is heeause the acidity which
they eontnin aids in separating the hile from
the blood, that it aids in purifying the blood.
Hence the great yearning for greens, and lettuce, and salads in the early spring, these heing eaten with vinegar; hence, also the tnste

betries, in proportion as we eat them with
sugar, or even sweet milk or cream.
