per share was levied upon the eapital stock of sald company, payable Immediately, in United States gold and silver
coin, to the Sceretary, 12 Front street, San Francisco, or
to J. T, Maccean, Superintendent, Star City.
Any stock upon svhich said assessment shail remalniunpald on Satnrday, the 20th day of January, 1866, wlll be advertised on that day as delinquent, and unless payment
shall bo mado before, will be sold on Tuesday, the 6th day
of February, 1866,to pay the dellnquent asscasment, together with costs of advertising and expenses of sale. By
