The naval prefect of ‘Toulon, who distioguished himself so mach while the cholera was prevalent in that towo, is about to test this invention. If the trials prove successful, the discovery will be most valuable from a sanitary point of view, as the uohealthiness of many of the ports is chiefly caused by the stagnant water.
