The island of Nuhau, of that group, is said to be pcenljarly adapted to such cultivation, as melts the past scasou have fully shown, Or the immigrants now arriving from the East a much larger portion than usual are Americans, mostly from the Southern and Westcrn States, most of whom are laborers, Thcy readily find cmploymcut cither at farming or lumbering.
