The defendant was brought into Court for the purpose of hearing its judgment, bnt several respectable meu of El] Dorado County had interested themselves in behalf of Murray, on account of his family, which consists of a wife and five children, and Judge Hoffman stated that the sentence would be suspended, but assured Murray that if he repeated the offense the penalty would be imposed.
