The Mining and Scientific Press. The Hindoo Philosophy. There isa great deal of suggestive matter to bo found in the intuitive poetry of that most ancicnt of all the world’s schools of philosophy, whose principal record is the Shasters. Dr. H. M. Sendder’s summary of it as given in his lecturo before a very large, and solid, but considerably Presbyterian-looking audience, on Tuesday even. ing, was very good. He said: “Thero were several ancicnt Hindoo schools of.philosophy, and their philosophy always includel their theology.
