Varney's Patent Amalgamator.
These Machines Stand Unrivatied.
For rapidity pulverizing and amalgamating ores, thor
have noequal. Nocffort has been, or will be sparcd,
to have them constructed In the ruost perfect manner,
and of the great uumber now In operation, not ouo har
ever required repairs. Tho constant and Increasing demand fur them isauficicnt evidence of their merits.
They are constructed suas to apply steam directly

This Amalgamator Operates as Follows.
Tbe pan being Alled.the wotton of the muler forcee
the pulp to the center, where it ls drawn duwo througb

Thence itisthrown to tbe periphery into the quicksilver.
The curved plutes ayain draw it to the center, where i
pases down, and to the clreumference as before, Thur

STEVENSON'S PATENT MOULD BOARD AMALGAMATING PAY.
This Pan is far superior to ull
others in several important partienlurs. ‘Tho grinding moiters are near
the ceuter, requiring less power.
The plow-shaped grooves ruiso tho
quicksilver with the pulp regularly,
with lees power, without violence,
and with better amalgamating ef
lect, besides admitting of a larger
charge. Tho iucliued-shaped honsmgs of the inoller-plate openiugs
viliciently force the pulp directly
auder the mutters.
