We mentioned in a previons issue that parties going thither shonld he carefnl not to overload themselves with provisions, etc.,as the overland ronte is a hard one, The Portland Bulletin, in speaking of the party referred to ahove, is reliably informed that they fonnd large quantities of provisions seattered along the road, thrown away hy overloaded ‘‘sledders."’ The weather had heen cold, hnt nothing like as severe aa they had heen led to expect, and it was then raining.
