MA If you stay on Highway 49 look out just
Pilot Hill for Bayley House, a handsome
colonial mansion built in 1862. Coloma is your next
stop, and is well worth a visit. The central section is
now a State Park and the historic buildings are all
marked for your convenience. There are picnic
tables here, or if you wish lunch or dinner you will
find at the south end of town the main building of
an old vineyard which has been restored and now
serves as restaurant and hotel under the name of
Vineyard House.
