Union, from San Francis¢o, November 29th,
says: a <i
A strange rumor is out that news-received
by.telegraph from New York warrants the
arrest of several prominent citizens of this
State, who are avowed sympathizers—with
rebellion; that they are implreated in treasunable designs by some paper found in the posseasion of ex-Senator Gwin which he neglected to dispose of before his trunks were
placed under. seal by Gen. Sumner. It is
stated to-night that the United States marshal has a list of the names. and 1s preparing
the necessary documents to take the parties
into custody. If the rumor:be true, seme
