An AMERICAN GAaRIBALDIAN.—Dr. Bardfute Warwick, who has been serving with
Garibaldi, is now in Richmond, Va., where
he attraets much attention. Dr. Warwick is
bnt twenty-one, and yet he has already been
in eleven pitched battles and innumerable
skirmishes, “He joined Garibaldi at Palermo,
fought in all hia -battles and left him only
when he. resigned at Capus. Dr. W. isa
captain in the Sardinian service, Victor Emanuel having adopted some of the soldiers of
Garibaldi. He literally fought his way up,
froma common soldier toa captain, in six
Warwick's modesty allows him to say. Capt.
W. is going back te the great war, which, he
says is sure to break out in March.

Granp LARCENY.—A young man named
Patrick Nicholson has been arrested in Marysville on the charge of grand larceny,
stealing the valuable set of diamond jewelry
from Lina Wendell, of the Martinetti Troupe.

possession. He says taat he found it hidden
near Timbuctuo. He is evidently an unfortunate fortunate cuss.
Bee Trees.—The introduction of bees
into this State has been productive of that

other day a Mr. Wilber, of Mokelumne Hill,
found a bee tree in the woods two miles from
that place, from Which tie obtained two
swarms of bees and two hundred pounds of
honey. Near by he found another tree, with
another swarm.

one of them, and will submit to share their

my ties and interests are here—here I have
