to rob Mr. Seadden, of Grass Valley,. on his

Tue OROVILLE RAILROAD.—The Marysville Appeal thus speaks of the prospects of
this road:
“The line has been graded and prepared for?
the reception of ties for a distance of about
two miles and a half from their former-camp,
eastward. A force of ‘ubout seventy-five
men is new employed, and-the work is being
pushed forward as vigorously as possible, and
the contractors are confident. that the road
will be in running order by the commencement of the rainy season. Chenery, one of
the contractors, is now in the East, aml is
prepared to forward the rolling sfB0K’ and
iron for the road as fast-as they are called for;
being provided with fands arising from stock
subscriptions:
