enjoy water and water rights in conneotion with the handling
of precious metals; to build, buy, sell, mortgage, operated and
maintain dredges, and all mining machinery, and machinery and
material for hydraulic mining; stamp mills, and other mills necessary for handling the ores, and for working placer mines, base
ores, and for handling and developing mines of every character
and nature whatsoever; to ereot, maintain anc construct buildings on its own or leased property , for use in connection with
the mines owned and onerated by the said corporation; to buy,
sell, and use tears, wagons, saw mills, and ali articles and
things necessary for corvyine out the purposes of this corporation,
or otherwise; to do and perfoxn every act necessary and conven—
ient to carry on ths purposes aforesaid, of said corporation, or
any of thei.
Second: To purchase, secure, own, sell, lease, mort—
gaze or otherwise deal in and dispose of personal property, rights
or privileges which this corporation may deem necessary for the
advantage of its business.
Third: To pay cash, or issue stock in payment, for
any and all property, of whatsoever nature or icind, authorized
to be acquired, held and operated by this said corporation.
tt ourth: To acquire, by purchase, pre-emption, location, lease, license, grant , option, conveyance, assigmaent,
agreement or otherwise, lode and placer claims, mill sites, oil,
gas, gypsum, asphaltum, netrolcum, asbestos, salt waters, franchises, privileges, silver and gold mines, or any other mines
of every kind, character and nature, ineluding rights or property
necessarily useful in the operation of said corvoration, and to
develop, and so work, utilize, and sell the same, and carry on a
general business for the working and development of lode and
placer claims, construction, purckase and operation of mines and
plants, ond the treatment and reduction of ores.
