the duties monthly; within ten days, from
the first day of each menth, on the preceding
month. according to a form.of statement which
will be furnished from this office. The attention
of those interestedis directed tothe following
rovisions of the Revenue Law: —
“‘ That if any person or persons shallexercise
or carry on pre thovmensse hereinafter mentioned,
for the exercising or carrying on of which trade
or business a licence is required by this Act,
ewithont taking out such license as in that behalf
required, he, she or they shall, for every such
offense respectively, forfeit a penalty eqnal to
three times the amount of duty or sum of money
imposed for such licences.”” [Sec. 5. :
** That for neglect or refusal to pay the duties
provided by this Acton manufactured—articles
as aforcesfid, the goods wares and merchandise
manufactured and unsold by such manufacturers
shall be forfeited to the Unifed Staté#’”’ [Sec. 70]

lect all the duties aud taxes imposed by this
Act. however the same may be designated. and
