three, disharging into each other ; three of which

amalgamation of Silver Ores by any of the old or
new processes. }
The Pans are about four feet in diameter, and
supplied with a false, perforated, or grate bottom,
upon which the grinding done, nd which allows
the gold, as.soon as united with the mercury, to
settle benath the grate, and, Rémain as safe asd
under lock and kev.
in cleaning up the pans and separating the
amalyam but about one-tenth the asual labor is
required.
The parts moat exposed to wear are made of
hard iron, and easily replaced, at trifling cost.

HERIFF’S SALE.—Whereas on the MF ¥
day of July, A. D. 1851, a final Judgment and
Decree waa rendered in the District Court of the
14th Judicial District of the State of California,
in and ior the county of Nevada, against EJONES and J. HULL and in favor of DANIEL
DOOLING for thésum of Three Hundred aod
interest on the principle at the rate of two per
cent per alban dae the rendition of Judgment
until paid, together with all costs of suit. And
whereas on said Second day of July,
A. D. 1861 it was ordered and decreed by
the said Court, that the Mo set forth
Plamtiffs complaint be foreclosed, and the property therein described, to-wit :—A certain tract
