AccIpEeNTSs.—The driver of the Grass Valley stage, Dave Hooper, was horribly crush.
od yesterday. Both collar bones and three
ribs were broken. At last accounts he was
insensible and by some supposed to be fatally injured. No one saw the accident. but it
is supposed he was thrown from his seat on
the stage and run over by the wheels,
David Hooper died \ast evening from the
effects of injures received.
The stages from Lincoln last night were
two hours and a half behind time owing to an
accident un the railroad. :
