The Republican Central Committee of Nevada
county, having made overtures to the County
Committee repsesenting the Union Demecray,
for arrangements to unite Union men of all political opinions for the purpose ot electing delegates’ to the Convention called by the Republican State Central Committee to assemble in
Sacramento on the 17th inst , and such overtures
having been rejected, after two adjournments on
our part to give the Union Democratic Committee time to deliberate. Weare now compelled at
this late moment to do that which, but for a
desire to unite all leyal men in one party, we
shonld have donv at an earlier day.
Therefore, «ll voters whearein favor of «ustaining the National Administration, in its efforte to suppress tue rebellion and preserve the
Union entire, are requested to assembie in their
spective Townships, on Thursday next,
the i2th instant, to elect delegates to a County
