STAGE TO OMEGA —MeHenty has not
been able to make his trips to Omega since

for the war tax. The members of the Legislature ought to see that delay in the passage of the bill ie troublesome in many respects. Why don’t they whip up their hind

We. understand the Sapervisors have levied a tax ot two per cent for Stats and County purposes, to be divided as follows; State
Fund, 62 cents; General Yund 53 cents;
Special Fund 40 cents; Indigent Sick Fund
30 cents; Road Fund § cents; and the
School Funds, 10 cents. We believe this to
ibe a judicious distribution, though we would
ibe glad to see ithe Sicheol Funds increased
