Weaver, and the new firth will’hereafter be known under the namie of Weaver & Co. Their place of business is at the we}, known stand heretofore ovceupied by Weaver & Newman. They, business is of the same nature as that eartied ‘on by the old firm. We have no doubt that the, fair and honorable dealing which charac. terized the old firm will be found continued by the new. BeEer.—That item of oursin the Transcript of Saturday,on beef, was a little out of kilter. We stated that the butchers were going to charge 25 cents per pound for beef hereafter. It should have been “ from 15 to 25 cents” instead. However, the mistake enables us to doa good thing—make a correction, and gave ten cents a pound to some beef-vaters. FREMONT ReINsTaTEeD.—The telegraph announces that Fremont has been sppomted to anew command, whereat individuals harp about the old charges against him in the Missouri campaign.
