GREENBACKS.—The District Court in the
cases of Bays vs Manguin et als and Mat
guin et al vs Bays, whérein the amount of
judgments was tendered in greenbacks, ordered the clerk to enter satisfactjon of judge
ment upon the record.

case of Hubbard vs Ayres, leave was grant
ed to amend complaint.
“Frosty,” who plead guilty to the.
indictment of robbing Hoy, was yesterday
sentenced to ten years in the penitentiary.
TWENTY-ONE autograph letters of Robert
Barns, with some manuseript verses and a
common-place book, were. sold at auction
lately, in Lomton, and brought more than a
hundred pounds.
