BROWN, Secretary of State By BILL HOLDEN of Deputy INTERNATIONAL SIVANANDA YOGA COMMUNITY ARTICLE I The name of this corporation shall be INTERNATIONAL SIVANANDA YOGA COMMUNITY. ARTICLE If The purposes for which this corporation is formed are: (a) The specific and primary purposes are: 1. To disseminate spiritual knowledge and understanding to all people; to further their spititual, moral and physical development by promulgating the teachings and philosophy of Swami Sivananda Saraswat] and the teachings of Yoga philosophy and culture. 2. To establish, maintain and operate training centers for the above purposes. 3. To print, publish and distribute all kinds of publications to promote and encourage spiritual, moral and physical development. 4. To operate for religious and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 507 (c) (3). ARTICLE III Of the Internal Revenue Code. (b) The general purposes and powers are: 1. To solicit, collect, receive, aquire, hold, and invest money and property, both real and personal, including money and property received by gift, contribution, bequest or devise; to sell and convert propergy, both real and personal, into cash; and to use the funds.
