SUNDAY -MORNING, MAY 34d, sae CERN SEAT RESETS Mitrrany.—At the meeting of the “N‘vada Light Guards” held on Friday evening, it was ordered by the Captain that the times for drill be on Monday, Wednesday and Fri-« day evenings of each week, and on every afternoon of the week until further ordets.— The time for the regular meeting of the company is Friday evening of each week at 8 o'clock. The services of Orinend Pitzwil« armorer for the company, and the hall of the as adrili room. Aa oath was adopted as part of the constitation of the company, declaring the Coustitution of the United States superior to the constitution cf any State of the Union, and-binding all_of the members of the company to support the President in all acts having for their object the supp ression of the present rebellion. The County Clerk, R.-H. Farquhar, administered the oath to the Captain, who then administered it to all members of the company present. Itis decidedly the best ever built in the county and a free road at that. The chances are.that there willbe vo travel ou the Turnpike Toll Road, in a short time, and the public can thank the few who built a road en which a man can travel without going down in his breeches pocket for cash. [Two hundred and thirty passengers left this city for Washoe.during the past week by the Caljfornia Stage Co's. and Mc Cue’s stages. The seturn passengers who come in daily say the road is in splendid condition: m feDivine service will be held at the Methodist and Congregational Churches this worning at-10 o'clock, and at 8 o'clock this ‘evening. te" The copper excitement is raging tremendously in this county. Some ten or fifteen new discoveries have been made within the past week. We hear of nothing but “feet”? now—ubout as bad as it is in San Francisco. te Miners have ~ eommenced bringing their dust in town in large quantities.
