Notes, to be issued underthe Act o July i7th,
1861. These notes will be msued in sums of fifty .
dollars, one Wiindred dollars, five bundréd dolbars, one thousend dollars, aud five thousand dollars each, dated August 19th; 1861, payable three
years after date to the orderof the subscriber or
as directed, and bearing-interest at the rate of
78-\0ths per cent. pérsanuum, payable semi-annually ;sueh interest being’ at the rate of two
vents for each day on every hundred ‘dollars —
For the conveniencé of the hulder, each note will
have coupons att: ched expressing the several
amounts of semi-annual interest; which coupons
may be detached ahd presented for payment separately from the notes.
Subscriptions for such Treasury Notes willbe
