office of the Assistant Treasurer U. 8., in this

1961. These notes will be issued in sums of fifty
dollars, one hundred dollars, five hundred dollars, one thoug*nd dollars, aud five thousand dollars each, dated August 19th, 1861, payable three
years after date to the order of the subseriber or
as directed, and besring interest at. the rate of
